If you can dream it

Your pit.
Your way.

There's no one-size-fits-all in live-fire cooking. Every pitmaster, backyard and BBQ business is different — so almost everything we build is custom.

How a build happens

Four steps.
One fire.

Simple on purpose. The hard part is our job.

  1. Tell us what you need

What you cook, how many you feed, where it lives. A call or the build form — whatever's easier.

  2. We design it

It starts in AutoCAD with cook-chamber volume and works out from there. Layout, features and finish get locked in with you.

  3. We build it

Tanks get cut, gouged, fitted and welded in Parkhill. Watch it come together on the Build Board and on Instagram.

  4. You light the first fire

Pick it up at the shop or we'll quote delivery. Then season it, load it with hardwood and go.

What you get to choose

Make it yours.

We start from a baseline package for each size and style, then work with you to get it just right for your goals. (The Small Block is the exception: it's a standard build.)

Hot-rod packages

Shop culture,
on a pit.

We're members of the East London Timing Association — Canada's favourite hot-rod club — and it shows. House-made fenders. Smoothie wheels. '59 Caddy tail lights. Finger-light doors. Hand-painted pinstripes and lettering from the people who do real cars.

Hickory Lane BBQ asked for a hot-rod patina, airbagged smoker to match their C10. We built it on remote-actuated air ride hidden in a patina chest.

Our philosophy

Less is more.

We spend a lot of time making sure each unit runs the best it possibly can. All designs start with AutoCAD and math — everything is a calculated amount, starting with cook-chamber volume.

After function comes style, and aesthetics are VERY important to us. We like to overbuild in quality but keep things simple and uncluttered.
