The build
Eugene and Shawn from Hickory Lane BBQ called asking for a hot-rod patina, airbagged smoker. This is what we came up with.
The brief was one line: match the truck. Their C10 sits on air, so the pit does too. The air-ride components are remote actuated and hidden inside a patina chest, so the whole rig can air right down.
The details are a team effort. Hand-painted stripes and lettering by Danno's Blackheart Designs. Louvered panels and custom bed strips finishing the wood bed in the storage area by Moore's Blacksmith. Air-ride parts from OnAir Canada. Old fenders brought back to life by The Sweet Patina.
The build was featured on the Under Seasoned BBQ Show. Such an honour.
